| The Main Throughway is the route through the South side of Campus buildings on Parnassus Avenue. The South side of the Parnassus Campus is a tightly grouped network of buildings. One can find themselves moving seamlessly from within one building to the next, realizing that you've just traveled the whole Campus. Beginning on the 1st Floor with Moffitt & Long Hospital in the East, you travel through Medical Sciences, Clinical Sciences through to UC Hall in the West.
Coming from the north side of Campus Millberry Union and the Clock Tower, there are two traffic signals with accessible sidewalks for smooth passage across the street. Coming from the south side of Campus Moffitt/Long Hospital Side, there are two traffic signals with accessible sidewalks for smooth passage across the street. There is one traffic signal on either side of the main entrance to Moffitt/Long Hospital at 505 Parnassus Avenue. One is in front of the Medical Sciences Building and the other is between the Moffitt/Long Hospital main entrance and the Emergency parking area. The Emergency Room entrance and parking area is accessed at the Southeast end of the Parnassus Campus adjacent to the main Long/Moffitt Hospital entrance. 3 disabled parking stalls are available in the Emergency Room parking area. Access to the Emergency Room is gained directly from the parking area. The Medical Center (Moffitt/Long Hospitals) Emergency Room parking area is reserved only for ambulances, emergency patients and for designated radiation and chemotherapy patients. Access to the Long Hospital Offices and Long Clinics Area is gained through the emergency parking lot. Long Hospital Info Entry to Long/Moffitt Hospital, at 505 Parnassus Avenue, is gained by automatic sliding doors at its entrance from Parnassus Avenue. A slightly sloping pathway guides individuals to the main entrance. Limited drop off parking is available along the path to the entrance. Patients and visitors may be dropped off and picked up at the semicircular driveway in front of Long/Moffitt Hospitals at 505 Parnassus Avenue. Parking in this area is restricted for that purpose. The Admitting Office is located inside the Medical Center, the second door on the left after entering the main hospital entrance. Moffitt Hospital Info To the east of Medical Sciences Building entrance at 513 Parnassus Avenue, there is a ramp that accesses the top of the stairway. At the far end of the bank of doors there is an auto door entry. The main elevator bank is located straight down the hall on the left. Medical Sciences Info Just west of 521 Parnassus Avenue, the Clinical Sciences entrance, you will see signs for the Orthotics and Prosthetics Center. Proceed down the ramp to the auto door entry. Entry is into B level. Continue straight and then make a right to the elevators. In order to gain access to the main south route through Campus; take the elevators up to the 1st floor. Clinical Sciences Info UC Hall entry can be gained just east of 4th Avenue on the south side of Parnassus Avenue at the Bus Stop. The incline is steep. There you will find an auto door entry. Follow the path to the elevators. In order to gain access to the main south route through Campus; take the elevators up to the first floor. UC Hall entry can also be gained just off 3rd Avenue on the south side of Parnassus Avenue as the street levels. Signage reflects the auto door entryway. After entering, proceed straight, make a left, following around the walls to the right. Elevators lie directly ahead on the left-hand side.
