Site Accessibility Routes

Site accessibility routes display entry to accessible building entries on the Parnassus Heights Campus. Major buildings on the South side of Parnassus Avenue are accessible through other buildings via internal corridors. Included in this category are the following buildings: UC Hall, Clinical Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Moffitt and Long Hospital Buildings. The Nursing Building which begins on the 2nd Floor and Health Sciences Instruction and Research East and West which begins on the 3rd Floor are accessible by elevator from these internal corridors.

Some areas of the campus are isolated from an accessibility standpoint due to topography; e.g. existing sidewalks (ramps) at slope greater than 8% for extended distances.

These are by no means the only routes available to travel through the UCSF Campus. The selected routes are the accessible routes. These routes include ramps, auto doors, automatic sliding doors and wheelchair elevators.

Route maps use accessible entry points to the buildings.
