| The Dental
Clinics Building is located in the Southwest corner of the Parnassus Campus.
Getting to the Dental Clinics Building from Parnassus Avenue, it is best
to take the Main Throughway route to the UC Hall elevators at the
West end of the route. Travel to the basement of the UC Hall Building. Exit
the elevator and follow the hallway to the right and out to Parnassus Avenue.
Turn left after exiting, continue for approximately 30 feet, then turn left
and follow the very wide pathway up to the Dental Clinics Entrance.
One of the favored compliant
parking areas is found in the parking lot behind the Dental Clinics Building.
Access to this parking lot is gained from Kirkham Street. The parking for individuals with disabilities is located on the second tier of the parking lot. If you are a patient, then you are not required to pay for parking. You will need to sign in at the front reception desk on the first floor of the Dental Clinics building. If you are not a patient then you will need to pay at the automated parking machine. Between the lot and the Dental Clinics Building is a ramp that guides you to the first floor of the building via an automatic door. Follow the hallway to the right and you will find an elevator to the right. The main elevator bank is located as you proceed down the hallway to the left. If you are using this route to gain access to the main Campus buildings, continue out the main entrance past the main elevator bank. Proceed down to Parnassus Avenue. Make a right turn on Parnassus. Continue on until you reach an automatic door in the building just to your right. You will be on the basement level of the UC Hall Building. Follow the hallway to the elevator, and take the elevator to the 1st floor. Continue on through the Main Throughway of the South Parnassus buildings to your destination. |
